AstRollnaut

AstRollnaut is a challenging sci-fi platformer all about fast paced exploration! 

It was created during the 2022 GMTK Game Jam with the theme "Roll the Dice". In this game, Cosmonaut Lucky - an adventurer, gambling addict, and cosmonaut - has to escape the strange time loop on planet Chronotopos with the help of his luck and the power of some random dice rolls!

Controls 

Keyboard: WASD/Arrow Keys to move, Space to Jump

Controller: Left analogue stick to move, A/B to jump

Hints: 

Don't worry about running out of time, you'll keep any upgrades between runs

Sometimes dropping downwards will be the fastest path to dice

Move quickly, you'll need to make full use of your time to reach some dice

Goal: Explore the vast Chronotopos  and search for magic dice! Dice give or remove abilities like double jump or wall jump, change stats like luck or speed, and modify the surrounding environment. Collect as many as you can as fast as you can in order to help you climb upwards and reach Lucky's Spaceship.

Time loop: Whenever your time runs out or lucky dies, the time loop resets and you are spawned back at the start.
